The World of Art

Art is produced in so many different ways. From famous painters, scultures in the Louve, to local street artists in Berlin. Each artist has something great to show the world. Each piece of art work is unique in it's own way, and I enjoy viewing all the different types one can find as well as creating some myself. Below are a few photos I took of a couple of peices I enjoyed seeing at the Louve.  You can also go to the Louve's official website to see what exibits they have at the moment.   http://www.louvre.fr/llv/commun/home.jsp?bmLocale=en

One of my favorite things about Berlin is that you can find art everywhere you look. Graffiti isn't considered vandalism, it's considered an art form, and I'm not talking about tagging either. In Berlin it's on almost every building you pass by. Personally I love it! The photo possibilities are endless, and not just for taking photos of street art. There are so many abandoned buildings that are photo worthy. To give you a flavor of this type of work, I have included a link to the website of an artist that I discovered selling his work at one of the more popular Sunday flea markets in Mauer Park. I bought two of his photos, which now hang in my living room. I plan to go to Beelitzer myself now that I have a better camera and can capture it as I see it. ;) You can check out my photography page once edited.

Below is a video I took while at an Art show put on by Maria Frozen. It was in an old abandoned building that had almost every room on three floors filled with different artists work. They also put on performances like the one I recorded below. For more info you can check out her website at... http://www.marziafrozen.com/CONTACT.html
